Music artists are beginning to take legal action over the issue of license vs. sale royalty issue for digital downloads. New lawsuits involving performers suing recording companies over accounting practices include members of The Temptations (vs IMG), The Allman Brothers (vs Sony), Kenny Rodgers (vs Capitol Records) and Peter Frampton (vs A and M Records Inc and UMG Recordings).
