Royalty management specialists MetaComet® Systems and payment automation experts Tipalti are pleased to announce a partnership to make royalty transactions even easier and faster. The powerful new alliance combines MetaComet’s long expertise in royalty solutions and Tipalti’s experience in accounts payable and partner payments software. It will allow MetaComet customers to pay royalties that are due to their partners with less effort and more efficiency than ever before.

MetaComet’s Royalty Tracker® platform has long been a leader in enabling publishers and other content creators to automate the calculation and distribution of their royalty statements, and by working with Tipalti it can now add the same convenience to the payment stage. Authors can enjoy the ease of fast electronic payments, while Tipalti’s cutting-edge software eliminates security concerns about the storage and transmission of banking information.

The partnership has been established in response to growing demand from publishers and content creators for greater automation in payments. It provides them with access to Tipalti’s acclaimed and widely used software that automates payments at high speed, based on the statements they generate on Royalty Tracker. The combined solutions enable users to further reduce the labor needed to manage royalties and to focus on their growth strategies and publishing.

David Marlin, President of MetaComet Systems, said: “We’re very excited to be working with the Tipalti team to bring their exceptional payment capabilities to our users. The partnership will cut the effort involved in handling payments yet again and takes us a large stride closer to our ultimate goal of enabling MetaComet customers to complete their royalty cycles with the push of a button. The publishing sector has performed well during the disruption of the pandemic, and we are thrilled to play a part in its ongoing success and innovation.”

“With this partnership we are bringing to market an ‘all-in-one’ solution that will make it easy for our clients to simplify the compliance process,” said Zach Svendsen, Senior Director of Alliances & Business Development at Tipalti.
