Independent Publishers Group (IPG) is pleased to announce the debut of its new statement portal created in partnership with leading royalty management specialist MetaComet Systems.
The portal, which launched on February 10th, 2022, provides IPG’s client publishers with fast and easy access to current and past monthly statements with full transaction details. It is a powerful addition to publishers’ business intelligence, providing them with the best-ever oversight of key financial data in a clean and easy-to-understand layout.
“IPG is proud to partner with MetaComet on a bespoke solution for publisher revenue sharing and statement generation that is the best in the industry for transparency and accuracy,” said IPG’s CEO, Joe Matthews.
The cutting-edge portal combines the extensive expertise of IPG and MetaComet in distribution and royalties. In addition, it brings publishers a step closer to MetaComet’s goal of achieving plug-and-play royalty processes, enabling complete management at the push of a button.
“This exciting portal is the result of the dedication shared by IPG and MetaComet to giving publishers the best possible experiences,” said MetaComet Systems founder and president, David Marlin. “It provides them with the tools they need to make their operations even more efficient and data-led, and to thrive in today’s publishing environment. It has been a great pleasure to work with IPG on this project, and I am excited about what our teams can create together as the portal evolves.”
About Independent Publishers Group:
Founded in 1971, IPG was the first organization specifically created for the purpose of marketing titles from independent presses to the book trade. Today, IPG’s wide reach into the book market includes distribution of both print and e-books from a wide array of publishers, digital printing and traditional publishing. With consistent growth year over year, IPG’s success has come from supporting and encouraging the growth of its publishing partners in the United States and worldwide. IPG was acquired by Chicago Review Press in 1987, and this acquisition formed the parent company Chicago Review Press, Inc., which now owns Chicago-based indie publishers Chicago Review Press and Triumph Books.
